Project-Based Learning

One of the ways we will be learning in this class is through Project-Based Learning. This is learning by doing a project that is often based on a real-world type of problem. Most of this work will be done in groups or with a partner. You will be given a problem to solve, and as you solve the problem, you build your understanding around certain topics. You will then present your solution and what you learned to the class so we can all learn from you.

As you work on the projects, your main goal will be to use what you know about computers to solve the problem. After you have a solution, you will then present your findings on how you solved the problem. What you learned and what you still may need to learn. You can use whatever form you wish to make your presentation. We will provide more specific information once we begin working on our first problems.
